Envision Partners With Constructionarium Australia.
Envision has today announced an exciting new partnership with Constructionarium Australia for their next four project builds, including September’s upcoming Story Bridge construction.
Announcing the partnership CEO Hugh Hofmeister stressed the importance that Constructionarium Australia plays in developing essential skills required to be part of the construction sector, “A partnership with Constructionarium Australia aligns perfectly with the values and mission that we have at Envision. Since founding the organisation, we have committed to enabling better construction project performance, improving the working lives of those involved and making the world a better place.”
“Working with the next generation of industry leaders provides the team at Envision a fantastic opportunity to help equip participants with the essential skills required to be part of a modern, technology empowered industry. We look forward to working with the new cohort across the 8-day program and with Constructionarium Australia long into the future.”
As part of the partnership, Envision will provide training, software and mentoring to the cohort of students and early-stage industry professionals. In addition, a team member from Envision will be selected to participate in the programme.
Deployed on 270 projects valued at $20 billion for major brands in the Energy, Oil & Gas, Resources and Infrastructure sectors, Envision will be used by Constructionarium Australia participants to manage costs, create daily progress reports, identify issues and ensure they deliver their build on time and to budget.
Director and Head of Engineering, Adrian Smith, stressed the importance of investing time and resources into Queensland’s future infrastructure leaders, “First and foremost we are a Brisbane business, with all of our engineering, development and support undertaken in Australia. Partnering with Constructionarium Australia enables us to invest in the future of the state where we founded Envision and continue to call home.”
“We are fortunate to work with clients all over the world in locations from the USA to Mongolia, but whatever our scale we don’t forget the importance of investing in emerging local talent critical to the future of our sector. This partnership enables us to continue our commitment to working collaboratively with our local clients, networks and partners to ensure that the next generation of leaders is armed with the skills and knowledge to succeed.”
Constructionarium Australia’s Executive Director, Harry Hartman, welcomed the partnership “The use of technology to improve project performance is at the forefront of our industry. It is essential that the next generation of industry leaders use their natural ability, technology skills and talent to harness the benefits that services like Envision can bring to the sector.”
“Throughout the project, we will have a clear emphasis on industry-leading project management techniques, construction methodologies and cutting edge technologies and the role they will play in project planning, procurement, management and delivery.”
“I am thrilled Envision has come on board as long-term partners who clearly understand the needs of our sector and the urgent requirement to adapt to the challenges that we face in major project delivery.”
The next Constructionarium Australia build in partnership with leading contractor Fulton Hogan, designer HDR and will take place between 25 September and 4 October at the Construction Training Centre in Salisbury. Participants will take part in a complete project build from tender to client handover and will gain essential skills and expertise that will help to fast track their careers as they construct a 1:25 scale replica of Brisbane’s iconic Story Bridge.
